Only three of these cars were built Bugatti, and beyond this one sold for $ 30,000,000 (looks nice with all zeros, is not it?), It is owned by designer Ralph Lauren. We wonder if the third is ...

This is a record for car auctions, and car prices completely.
"One of the most important and valuable cars in the world, which was in a private collection and rarely seen during the last four decades," said David Gooding, head of auction house on the vintage Bugatti.

Highly praised for its art-deco elegance, the 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic was a step forward is the day. The car is widely considered the most beautiful car of the pre-war throughout automotive history, and is said to be the favorite design by Jean Bugatti himself. Only one Atlantic could generate a whooping price so, as a benchmark: 57 Type rediscovered sold for € 3.4 million at auction on February 7, 2009, a car show in Paris.

Several reports have named the U.S. Mullin Automotive Museum, a collection created by a California rich executive pay expert, Peter Mullin. The museum issued a statement denying he had bought the vehicle, but said he had been in talks with the new owner on how to display the Bugatti to the public.
